The New Generation Charitable Foundation was established on June 24, 2003.
Missions of the Foundation:
During the whole period of its work, the Charitable Foundation provided assistance to more than 50,000 residents of the Zakarpattia region and beyond. More than 800 tons of humanitarian aid were distributed in the form of clothing, footwear, bedding, blankets, pillows, toys, household items, kitchen utensils, furniture, office equipment, sports equipment, hygiene products, food, stationery, electronics and more. The aid was mostly provided to large families, the poor, the disabled and the elderly.
The New Generation Charitable Foundation has implemented several grant projects, namely a program to prepare Roma children for school. In addition, a sewing workshop with a training program for women, a shoe repair shop, and a political school for Roma leaders were established. The charitable foundation also built additional premises to private homes to increase living space for large families. More than 50,000 lunches were distributed to low-income, homeless people.
For more than 18 years of its activity, the Charitable Foundation has constantly hosted and participates in mass events organized by local governments. For four years, the Charitable Foundation itself held a charity festival “Make a Holiday for a Child ” for children from orphanages in the Transcarpathian region. Trips for children from low-income families to the city of Kyiv were organized for concerts of famous stars, theatrical performances and New Year’s performances.
Each year, the Charitable Foundation distributed New Year’s gifts to more than 250 orphans. Many charitable deeds have been done. At the moment, when there is a war in Ukraine, we are actively working with the Evangelical Church of Salvation in Uzhhorod, helping people who were forced to leave their cities and moved to Transcarpathia with settlements, humanitarian aid and food. We provide consultancy services on crossing the border to EU countries. More than 400 people have already received shelter. It may not be much, but we did our best and we thank God for the active participation of our people in helping those who need it in this difficult time for our country. The New Generation Charitable Foundation, headed by its President Robert Ivanovich Yovny, aims to implement the Let’s Build Ukraine Together project and is launching a fundraiser to build an ecological social town with its own infrastructure for internally displaced people. Construction will take place using the latest technology using construction 3D printers. This will allow building quickly, efficiently and 5 times cheaper than the standard conventional method. Thus, in a short period of time it is possible to provide housing for a large number of families and improve the economic situation of our region.
«We hope for the help of people who are with us in this pain and are ready to lend a helping hand to us» – words of Robert Yovni, the president of the New Generation Charitable Foundation.
